I wanted to write a little something as a tribute to someone very dear to us that passed away after a long battle with cancer. The girls' Aunt Chrissy was someone very special and will always hold a place in our heart. Chrissy and I became especially close in the past 7 years since her brother and I divorced. Most of the time when a person goes through a divirce, you feel pushed out of the family. Well, that was not the case for me. My ex's family is still very much a part of my life. I get along with all of them very well and I will never forget one day in particular when Chrissy called just to tell me that she considered me her sister. We've remained in touch over the years and she always spoke of how much she missed me and the girls. Chrissy was always there for me when I needed her and she helped me tremendously during my divorce to her brother. She was a doting Aunt and never hesitated to watch the girls for me if I were in a bind. I was lucky to have her live in North Carolina with me for a few years. Chrissy was a great person with a big heart and she will be missed dearly. We love you Chrissy and you will never be forgotten.
